About Us

We began farming over 40 years ago with the purchase of a pair of Sicilian Buttercup chickens who lived in the backyard of our house in Vancouver. Within a couple years, we moved to Whonnock in the Fraser Valley and expanded to include more chickens; followed by dairy goats. Today, we continue our work with heritage breeds that include hair sheep, four varieties of ducks, turkeys, geese, and occasionally pigs.

We chose to raise heritage breeds because we like the characteristics they have, and because we want to support the continued diversity of livestock and poultry. By purchasing from our range of products, you also support the life of these heritage breeds. Our animals are fed certified organic feed and also forage.
